A LOT has happened since my last post several months ago. I'm finally living in Cholula and finishing up course registration at UDLAP. More to come soon....

My Ride

Here's my current setup...

The board is a Comet Voodoo Doll with Randal II 180s (42 degrees) and the new Seismic 76 mm 80A Hot Spots.  A review will be up on this blog, SKATE[SLATE]. and Silverfish as soon as I get a chance to slide them.

Also, I'm going to write about my experiences in Colorado at the Popes Valley Derby this past weekend as soon as I have some time.

Popes Valley Derby

If all goes well, I'll be heading up to Colorado Springs this weekend to race in the Popes Valley Derby, run by my friend Stephan Reinhardt of Seismic Skate Systems. If you're in the area or can take a road trip, do it! It's shaping up to be a sick race. Details can be found on facebook or silverfishlongboarding.com.

Longboarding Mexico

There's a lot going on in the Mexican longboarding scene nowadays. Check out longboardingmexico.blogspot.com. I can't wait to skate with you guys!

This is the first post of (hopefully) many. My first stop will be Boston, Massachusetts starting in May. After that, I'll be heading off to school at la Universidad de las Américas, in Puebla, Mexico in August. Puebla, from what I've heard, is a gourmand's dream, and I hope to find some fantastic hills as well.

As for now, I'll be in Albuquerque, New Mexico until I leave. If anything cool happens, I'll post it here.
